The Brazilian women's Rugby 7's team lands today in Amsterdam to participate of the “Amsterdam 7's" championship which will take place on the 21st and 22nd of May 2011 at the “Sportpark de Eendracht”. On Saturday the Brazilian selection will play against Spain, AAC (Amsterdam) and Richmond Heavettes, starting at 10:40 am. The Brazilian team - seven times South American champion and the 10th (among 16 teams) in the World Cup held in Dubai in 2009 - is pursuing new challenges and international experience. Women's Brazilian Rugby is growing, becoming stronger and has great chances of winning a medal in the Olympic Games of 2016 in the city of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. After Holland the Brazilian Squad will travel to Portugal and then to Italy where the girls from Brazil will take part in the Rome 7's championship on the 3rd and 4th of June 2011, closing the international tour. Bring your sunscreen (the forecast is 21 degrees) and come to support the Brazilian team!
